Forty years have I toiled,

my dream still unmet…

Procrastination the culprit,

now’s the time to beget…

My plans they came slowly,

little here, little there…

Soon they gained traction,

for the road, that’s out there…

There’s no turning back now,

my time’s drawing near…

Momentum is building,

I’ve diminished the fear…

I set forth on my journey,

with cameras in tow…

To discover our country,

from high and from low…

I’ll gain more than freedom,

while I venture so far…

It’s my dream that I’m living,

of all ways…in my car!
